Every year BUDC Company get offered the opportunity to perform in Bath Spa University's annual degree performance as their curtain raiser. It's a wonderful opportunity for students to see what the standard of degree level dancing is like and perform alongside it.
It includes warming up with the degree students and professional artists and using the university's dance studios. Another highlight is watching a professional work that is part of the programme. The experience as a whole gives our dancers a good insight into what studying dance at degree level might be like and often inspires students to work harder. In the past, our dancers have danced in the same show as some great local artists such as Impermanence Dance Theatre and Karla Shacklock.
