BUDC have been invited to be the curtain raiser to Bath Spa University’s Third Year Degree Show.. This is an annual opportunity and one of the wonderful opportunities we get as part of our partnership with BSU.
MUW Fest ‘22
Music Workshop and BUDC collaborated to bring you a 3 day festival of live music and dance. Check out how MUWFEST 2022 went here! We’re already working towards the new show for 2023!
'I AM' solo project
Company dancers went through a process of looking inward, to find out more about themselves and produce exquisitely unique solos choreographed entirely by them. We then spent two days professionally filming them to capture and celebrate their individuality. Take a look at them here.

U.Dance SW
The South West Regional Dance Platform is a celebration of youth dance from across the South West which also acts as a selection event for U.Dance Nationals, One Dance UK’s National Youth Dance Festival.

Origins
Origins is a super sub-regional performance opportunity for young dancers to perform on a professional stage and meet other young people who also love to dance. Throughout the weekend dancers experience high quality guest workshops in between their technical rehearsals.
Keynsham Music Festival
The Love Dance Stage - this now with its own colourful marquee and total cover for performers and audience: an all day Sunday programme of varied local dance groups from children to adult – ballet to contemporary – dance schools to professional performers

Big Dance
Big Dance is a FREE dance event that provides everyone the opportunity to dance. Big Dance encourages 1000s of dancers across the world to learn the same dance and perform it publicly on the same day. In the past it has been choreographed by artists including Akram Khan, Hofesh Shechter, Kate Prince, Shobana Jeyasingh, Wayne McGregor and Arlene Phillips.
Inquiring Minds
Candice Scott one of our original cohort successfully applied to Inquiring minds - a young choreographer’s programme aimed at equipping young dancers and future choreographers with new ideas, skills and perspectives.

A week intensive learning about screen dance, choreography and performance and creating your own film as a group.
Spring Forward
Spring Forward is an annual dance festival offering unrivalled opportunities for Somerset and South West based dancers to perform on a professional stage, participate in workshops and watch world-class dance performances.
